Sz\u00fclei szer\u00e9ny polg\u00e1rok voltak. M\u00e1r fiatalon a b\u00e1ny\u00e1ban kezdett el dolgozni. 1952-1975-ig a M\u00e9rn\u00f6ks\u00e9g vezet\u0151je. 1970-t\u0151l intenz\u00edven \u00e9rdekelte a honismeret &#8211; szakk\u00f6r\u00f6ket vezetett a v\u00e1rosban t\u00f6bb helyen is. 2005-ben az Orig\u00f3 &#8211; H\u00e1z ter\u00fclet\u00e9n, a P\u00e9cs-Baranyai Orig\u00f3 &#8211; H\u00e1z Egyes\u00fclet t\u00e1mogat\u00f3 seg\u00edts\u00e9g\u00e9vel <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Mecsekszabolcs Kincsei<\/span> c\u00edmmel saj\u00e1t helyt\u00f6rt\u00e9neti ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1st alap\u00edtott. Egyh\u00e1zi vezet\u0151k\u00e9nt is tev\u00e9kenykedett. H\u0171 t\u00e1rsa Antal Margit alkot\u00f3 m\u0171v\u00e9sz volt. Az id\u0151k folyam\u00e1n k\u00e9t fia, majd n\u00e9gy unok\u00e1ja sz\u00fcletett. Parkinson k\u00f3rral k\u00fcszk\u00f6d\u00f6tt. 2007ben, az Orig\u00f3 &#8211; H\u00e1z Egyes\u00fclet megjelentette a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">T\u00f6rt\u00e9nelmi \u00e9s n\u00e9prajzi adatok a Mecsekszabolcsi Sz\u00e9nb\u00e1ny\u00e1kr\u00f3l<\/span>, amely szint\u00e9n az \u0151 kutat\u00e1si ter\u00fclet\u00e9t k\u00e9pezte. B\u00e1ny\u00e1szk\u00f6zmond\u00e1sokat is gy\u0171jt\u00f6tt. N\u00e9prajzi \u00e9s ipart\u00f6rt\u00e9neti munk\u00e1i is megjelentek.
